About Tim Fitzgerald

I have the privilege to be a Farrier serving the NYC and Long Island Areas since 2022.  After graduating from Cornell's Farrier Program in 2021 and an apprenticeship after, I focused Fitzgerald Farrier services on serving equine patients, with mostly therapeutic trims and shoeing.  However as more and more clients began asking if I could help with their other furry friends so we have begun to offer trimming services for many species, accepted on a case by case basis.​  I also continue to work for Cornell Ruffian Equine Specialists since relocating to Queens, NY in 2021 consulting for their farrier and hoof care needs.  I have also taught at Long Island University Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine .  I am a member of the American Farrier Association and the International Association of Professional Farriers.
